Отличный тайтл! Интересно, за сколько уйдёт.

Наверное, не лишнее скопировать сюда и текст:

1940's BUFF'S PALESTINIAN SHOULDER TITLE BADGE

You are bidding on a superb and Scarce Judaica British army's Palestine Buffs Regiment shoulder title badge.

Depicts the word "Buff's" above the word "Palestinian".

On 6 August 1940 Anthony Eden, the British Secretary of State for War, informed Parliament that the Cabinet had decided to recruit Arab and Jewish units as battalions of the Royal East Kent Regiment (the "Buffs"). At a luncheon with Chaim Weizmann on 3 September Winston Churchill approved the large-scale recruitment of Jewish forces in Palestine and the training of their officers. A further 10,000 men (no more than 3,000 from Palestine) were to be recruited to Jewish units in the British Army for training in the United Kingdom.

The Jews of Palestine were permitted to enlist in Jewish companies attached to the East Kent Regiment (the "Buffs"). These companies were formed into three infantry battalions of a newly-established "Palestine Regiment". The battalions were moved to Cyrenaica and Egypt, but there, too, as in Palestine, they continued to be engaged primarily in guard duties. The Jewish soldiers demanded to participate in the fighting and the right to display the Jewish flag.

It was not until September 1944, however, that the British government agreed to the establishment of a Jewish Brigade.

Circa: Palestine 1940's, Palestine (under British Mandate) Covered what is now Israel.

Size: 55 mm x 20 mm.
