Some biographical details:

 

19/01/1906: Joyce Violet Vaughan Morgan is born at Westcliff-on-Sea, in the Municipal Borough of Southend-on-Sea, County of Essex, youngest daughter of Dr Walter Harmon Morgan,  physician and surgeon (1869-1968), and his wife Violet Kate Morgan (née Slee) (1873-1956).

 

02/04/1911: At the 1911 Census, Joyce Violet Vaughan Morgan is living with her siblings and parents in Westcliff-on-Sea, Municipal Borough of Southend-on-Sea, County of Essex.

 

29/09/1939: At the taking of the 1939 Register, Joyce Violet Vaughan Morgan is living with her parents in the Urban District of Woking, County of Surrey, and it is noted that she is a 'Section Leader' (equivalent to 'Sergeant') in the 'Women's Auxiliary Air Force' (W.A.A.F.).

 

27/10/1939: Section Leader Joyce Violet Vaughan Harmon-Morgan, W.A.A.F., is promoted to the rank of 'Assistant Section Officer', W.A.A.F.

 

The surname Harmon-Morgan, utilising her father's middle name, seems to have been an affectation adopted by Harmon-Morgan during her service with the W.A.A.F.

 

01/02/1942: Assistant Section Officer Joyce Violet Vaughan Harmon-Morgan, W.A.A.F., is promoted to the rank of 'Section Officer', W.A.A.F.

 

01/06/1942: Section Officer Joyce Violet Vaughan Harmon-Morgan, W.A.A.F., is promoted to the rank of 'Flight Officer', W.A.A.F.

 

From July 1944, Harmon-Morgan is listed as an officer of 'G' Branch, W.A.A.F.

 

The branches of the W.A.A.F. were General (‘G’), Technical, Administrative & Special Duties, Equipment, Accounts and Meteorology. The roles of ‘G’ Branch W.A.A.F. officers included W.A.A.F.  discipline, dress and morale.

 

Second Quarter, 1947: Joyce Violet Vaughan Morgan marries Christopher Urwick (1898-1955) in the Kensington Registration District, County of London.

 

10/02/1954: Flight Officer Joyce Violet Vaughan Urwick, Emergency List, W.A.A.F., relinquishes her commission under the provisions of the 'Navy, Army, and Air Force Reserves Act, 1954', and retains her rank.

 

Third Quarter, 1956: Joyce Violet Vaughan Urwick marries Reginald James Singleton Fleming (1907-1984) in the Kensington Registration District, County of London.

 

23/04/1990: Joyce Violet Vaughan Fleming dies in the Gipping and Hartismere Registration District, County of Suffolk.

Очень необычное исполнение надписи по гурту. Так и должно быть?

Так и должно быть. Видел фото еще одной AEA, подписанной на WAAF, - совершенно аналогичный почерк, кстати, очень похожий на подписи DFM за ВМВ.
